The four cost drivers
Carcass (the box behind the shutter): plywood from ₹95/sqft, BWP marine ply from ₹150/sqft.
Shutters: laminate from ₹450/sqft, acrylic from ₹950/sqft, PU from ₹1,400/sqft.
Hardware: this is where most clients under-budget. Soft-close hinges and channels from Hettich or Hafele add ₹600–₹1,200 per shutter.
Counter: granite ₹180/sqft, quartz ₹650/sqft, marble ₹400+ depending on stone.
